Our TBO Jewish Food Festival

February 23, 2014 - Temple Beth Or's
11th Annual Jewish Food Festival

Our annual Jewish Food Festival and Treasure Market has become our ambassador to the community. Begun in 2004, thousands of our Montgomery neighbors have visited us over the years to try scrumptious and "exotic" culinary treats that are available for sale. You don't have to know how to pronouce rugelach or challah to know how delicious these baked goods are. Other menu items include brisket (slow-cooked beef), potato latkes (pancakes) and stuffed cabbage - not to mention Carnegie Deli cheescake - straight from the Big Apple! Our past Jewish Food Festivals have been a wonderful success. Thousands of people enjoyed the cuisine; visited our Treasure Market that promised something for everyone; stopped by our Temple Beth Or Gift Shop, which has a wonderful selection of jewelry and other gifts; and many attended a short session in our sanctuary with Rabbi Stevens to learn about Jewish customs.
